Osceola, Marion and Lake counties faced 911 outages Tuesday due to technical difficulties.
As of Wednesday morning, the 911 system was slowly coming back online.

Officials in Marion County said the issue started when a fiber optic cable was cut in the Clermont area.
According to Ocala police, their 911 call system was experiencing intermittent connectivity issues.
Lake County officials said emergency management was also working to restore its phone systems as quickly as possible.
Residents were urged to use text-to-911 for emergency contact until the phone system was fully restored.
Osceola County also asked residents to use text-to-911 if they had an emergency.
