Lake Mary hospital welcomes 500th baby 6 months after opening its doors

LAKE MARY, Fla. – Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital for Women and Babies reached a milestone over the weekend, welcoming its 500th baby just six months after opening its doors to patients, according to a news release.

Little Theodore, or Theo for short, was born on Sunday, weighing in at 7 pounds and 6 ounces to parents Andres and Lilly Figueroa of Fruitland Park, the release states.

Doctors said that Theodore and his parents are all doing well.

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital officially opened its doors Jan. 11, with its labor and delivery services a part of Orlando Health Women’s Institute, according to the release.
