5-year-old hospitalized after near-drowning at Altamonte Springs apartment complex Incident occurred near Innovation Way
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A 5-year-old child was taken to the hospital Friday after a near-drowning at an apartment complex in Altamonte Springs, according to fire officials.
It happened before 1 p.m. near Innovation Way, south of Gateway Drive and northeast of State Road 434 and Maitland Boulevard.
The boy was taken to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.
No other details have been released, including the child’s condition.
