Woman accused of fatally stabbing fiancé during argument in Osceola County, deputies say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A woman is accused of fatally stabbing her fiancé during an argument on Saturday at Westgate Vacation Villas, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Jameilah Goodine, 32, was arrested on Sunday.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to Westgate Vacation Villas and located Harold Mundy, 61, who had been stabbed in the chest. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The sheriff’s office said they spoke with Goodine, who said they had been arguing and she pointed a knife toward Mundy’s chest in self-defense.

An arrest warrant was obtained and she was arrested. She faces charges of second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence.

An investigation is ongoing.
