“There is an immense amount of research and planning that goes into a show like ‘Catch Me,’“ show director Ben Gaetanos said.

“From reading Frank Abagnale’s memoir, to researching the 1960’s, intense character studies, and planning out the logistics of mounting a large musical with a lot of moving pieces. All the work hopefully seeps into the show, and the audience can experience a seamless production,” he explained.

The musical follows Frank, a teenage runaway. He forges his way through life as a pilot, doctor, and lawyer, all while evading FBI agent Carl Hanratty.

“The beautiful message of our production focuses on how we discover and take ownership of our own identity. Each main character reminds us that no one can chase the future while running from the past,” Gaetanos said.
