“They were traveling in an unknown model or tag pick-up truck. The pick-up truck was olive green in color with a diesel engine,” the release initially read. “Nicole Griner is believed to be with Dewitt, but it is not confirmed if they would still be in the described vehicle.”

On Friday, though, Griner’s home in the Pine Island area of Clermont was discovered “heavily vandalized,” deputies added.

It appeared a piece of construction equipment was used to rip a hole into a wall of the house.

“Her vehicle was present on the property,” the release continues. “However, she was not.”
