ALTOONA, Fla. – Using a drone to track him down, deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of domestic battery, a news release stated.
The sheriff’s office said on Facebook that around 5:29 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to a home in reference to a “domestic disturbance.”
After further investigation, the post states, it was determined that the suspect, Joshua High, “had multiple charges” and fled the scene.

Officials said deputies deployed a drone to find High and were able to locate him hiding in a nearby wood line.
According to the news release, the deputies showed the drone’s live video stream to the victim, and they positively identified High.
High was arrested and taken to the Lake County jail.
He faces charges of simple battery (domestic), deprivation of 911 (domestic), giving false information to a law enforcement officer and burglary with battery therein.
