OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A man is accused of exposing himself to a 16-year-old girl in Osceola County after she got off of her school bus, according to the sheriff’s office.
Jose David Gonzalez-Rivera was arrested Tuesday.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, a 16-year-old high school student reported on Aug. 15 that a man had exposed himself to her after she got off of her school bus near 5725 W. 192 in Kissimmee.
The teen told deputies that a black Lexus sedan pulled up to her and asked if she wanted to make $100. While asking her, the man exposed himself, deputies said.
According to an affidavit for an arrest warrant, the girl told deputies he had yelled, “I’ll give you $100 right now if you get in the car.”
Deputies said they spoke with another teen nearby who reported a similar encounter with the man. According to the affidavit, the 15-year-old girl told deputies a man asked her if she wanted to make “quick money” and when she replied that she was a minor, she reported he said, “I don’t care if you’re a minor, do you want to make quick money?” and “Just get in my car.”
The sheriff’s office determined the suspect was Gonzalez-Rivera and arrested him on Tuesday.
While the sheriff’s office said this was an isolated incident with no other victims, deputies said Gonzalez-Rivera may have approached other people in a similar manner.
Gonzalez-Rivera faces a charge of exposure of sexual organs. At his first appearance in court on Wednesday, the judge gave Gonzalez-Rivera a $500 bond and ordered that he have no contact with the victim.
