10 arrested in Kissimmee police operation targeting drug sales near schools

‘Operation The Wall’ targeted alleged street-level sales of fentanyl, cocaine

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Kissimmee Police Department arrested 10 people following a two-month operation aimed at disrupting narcotics activity in an area locally known as “The Wall,” officials said.

The initiative targeted alleged street-level sales of fentanyl and cocaine behind a commercial retail plaza in North Kissimmee and in close proximity to schools and daycares.

Deputy Chief Wilson Munoz told News 6 the department is “committed to ensuring that all of our neighborhoods and community areas, businesses and residences are safe and free from drugs,” adding that “especially around our schools, we will not tolerate it.”

Working with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, the Kissimmee Police Department’s Tactical Police Unit and Patrol Division conducted undercover surveillance and coordinated arrests, authorities said.

Most suspects face felony charges for sales or delivery of controlled substances within 1,000 feet of protected areas such as schools — offenses that carry enhanced penalties under Florida law.
