OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a man who was arrested in August, accused of engaging in sexual activity with a child, may have additional victims.
Anthony William Falu Jr., 23, was arrested on Aug. 21 to face a charge of lewd and lascivious battery on a victim between 12 and 16 years old, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Since then, an anonymous complainant accused Falu of engaging in sexual activity with other minors, the statement reads.
The sheriff’s office began investigating Falu in May and arrested him after obtaining a warrant for the lewd and lascivious battery charge, according to the statement. Later, a search warrant for Falu’s phone allegedly turned up several images depicting child pornography, prompting an additional arrest on Sept. 9 over five counts of possession of child pornography, the sheriff’s office said.
Falu has since been released and is out on bond, records show.
An investigation is ongoing.
