ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Trooper Steve and XL 106.7’s Sondra Rae successfully navigated the Red Bull Tandem Rollercoaster Challenge on Saturday, managing to stay dry while many competitors took unexpected plunges into Cranes Roost Park’s waters.
The duo was among more than 30 teams competing in the unique challenge, which drew large crowds to the popular Altamonte Springs venue.
While numerous teams provided entertainment with spectacular splashdowns, the two maintained their balance throughout the entire course, celebrating their successful run with an enthusiastic crowd of spectators.

The event, which featured teams of two attempting to navigate a challenging course in tandem, tested participants’ balance, coordination and teamwork skills.
