POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 51-year-old man arrested in Polk County was taken to jail on drug charges, but what deputies found on a body scan inside of the suspect is something Sheriff Grady Judd described as “never seen it before.”
Sheriff Grady Judd said deputies initially responded to a call about a naked man inside of a bathroom at a public park.

When deputies arrived, however, the man – later identified as Walter Frymire – was fully clothed.
Judd said that deputies trespassed Frymire from the park but did not arrest him.
According to Judd, the man then walked across the street onto railroad tracks, where he was trespassed again and arrested.
During his arrest, deputies found methamphetamine on Frymire, who has 25 prior arrests and has been to state prison five times.
“Well, I’ve talked about meth doing crazy stuff to you, right? You ain’t gonna believe this,” Judd said. “So we put everybody through a body scanner to make sure they’re not trying to bring guns and knives and drugs into the jail.”
But according to Judd, deputies found something even harder to digest on Frymire’s X-ray.
“He brought a thermos into jail. That’s right, he put it in the exit ramp,” Sheriff Judd said in a way only he could explain. “You know what I mean?”
Frymire said that he put the thermos inside of him about 24 hours earlier, but he “didn’t swallow it,” Judd added.
Judd went on to say deputies saved Frymire’s life, despite the man threatening to kill deputies for arresting him.
Judd said that after being taken to the hospital, Frymire is now “thermosless in the county jail.”
Officials did not say if anything was in the thermos or what charges Frymire faces.
