Deputies search for burglar who took handgun, PlayStation 5 in Leesburg break-in

Incident happened at Blueberry Hill Apartments complex, deputies said

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – Lake County deputies announced that they are searching for the culprit behind a break-in at a Leesburg apartment complex on Monday.

In a release, deputies explained that the burglary happened at the Blueberry Hill Apartments complex.

Per the sheriff’s office, the door of the unit was kicked in, and the following items were stolen:

  • A safe containing $1,500
  • A Louis Vuitton bag
  • A Louis Vuitton wallet
  • A PlayStation 5 game console
  • A Glock handgun

The victim’s red 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck was also taken during the incident, the release shows.
