Water line break in Mount Dora causes citywide precautionary boil water notice

Break may be due to flooding, officials said

MOUNT DORA, Fla. – Mount Dora officials have issued a citywide precautionary boil water notice on Sunday evening after a water line break, according to a news release.

Officials said the they are still working to locate the source of the break, “, which appears to be related to current flooding.”

According to the release, residents are advised to boil all water for consumption until further notice.

Officials listed the following closures and impacts:

  • Wolf Branch Road at Timberlake Drive: road washed out, impassable
  • Donnelly Street (North of Limit Ave and South of US 441): road washed out
  • Old Eustis Road: closed from Donnelly Street to Dogwood Circle
  • Donnelly Street: closed from Pine Avenue to Waterman Village at Manorside Drive
  • US 441: closed from Limit Avenue to Bristol Lake Road
  • Britt Road: closed from Horse Ranch Road wes
