In a statement, company officials told News 6 that the move will close down the manufacturing and warehouse operations at the plant, which is located near Silver Star Road and John Young Parkway.
Officials further explained that the shutdown was “driven by business needs,” though the company plans to provide transition assistance, career support, and pay and benefits to affected employees during this time.
“This was a difficult decision, as we know how much this site and its people mean to the Orlando community,” the statement reads.
