Multiple gunshots fired in neighborhood near downtown Mount Dora

MOUNT DORA, Fla. – Shots were fired late Monday in a neighborhood near downtown Mount Dora, but no one was injured, police said.

Mount Dora police and Lake County sheriff’s deputies flocked to the area on North Clayton Street at East Jackson Avenue, north of downtown.

Police on Tuesday said shots were fired in the area and multiple casings were located.

No injuries were reported on scene and there no witnesses have come forward, police said.
