Volusia deputies arrest 18-year-old accused of stealing grandma’s gun

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Volusia County deputies have arrested an 18-year-old man accused of stealing his grandmother’s firearm.

Kendrick Graham faces charges of armed burglary of a dwelling and grand theft of a firearm, records show.

In a release, deputies said that Graham took the loaded gun from his grandmother’s apartment on Belltower Avenue in Deltona.

“There were signs of forced entry to her bedroom,” the release reads. “Graham has since been posting photos with the gun on social media.”

According to the sheriff’s office, Graham’s family had been in contact with him, and he was refusing to turn himself in.

Graham was booked late Tuesday, records show.
