OCALA, Fla. – Ocala police say they’re investigating a homicide after a man was found dead early Thursday at the scene of a reported shooting.
Officers located the man while responding to a report around 4:11 a.m. of gunshots near the 800 block of West Silver Springs Place, the Ocala Police Department said in a news release.
Anyone with information in the incident is asked to call Detective Quintero at 352-369-7000, or to submit an anonymous tip referencing case No. 202500194355 to Crime Stoppers of Marion County at **TIPS (**8477), 352-368-7867, or OcalaCrimeStoppers.com.
“Detectives are actively investigating this homicide and we are working closely with the victim’s family during this difficult time,” the release states. “(...) If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward!”
