McDonald’s is facing a lawsuit over claims that the popular McRib sandwich has no rib meat.
The lawsuit says the McRib’s name and shape make people think they’re eating real pork ribs, but it’s actually made from lower-grade pork parts, including shoulder and other cuts.
McDonald’s says the McRib is made with 100% seasoned boneless pork and denies using any lower-quality parts.
McDonald’s sells the McRib for only a limited time, promoting it with big ad campaigns.
