VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – The commanding officer of the Ormond Beach American Legion post was arrested Friday evening to face charges of possessing child porn, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.
John Delage, 57, of Ormond Beach, faces 40 counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child, the sheriff’s office said Saturday on social media.
Staff at the American Legion post fully cooperated with the deputies making the arrest, according to the post.
The case began when the sheriff’s office’s Child Exploitation Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the post states.
