Alexis Armando Encarnacion Rosado was taken into custody on charges of shooting into an occupied vehicle, discharging a firearm in public, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, battery, and felony criminal mischief over $1,000.
According to the affidavit for Encarnacion Rosado’s arrest warrant, the victim told deputies he was working as an Uber driver when he picked up a customer in the Disney area.
The victim said the rider asked him to stop at a Denny’s for about 20 to 30 minutes. When the trip continued and neared the destination listed as Greenway Road, the driver suggested the customer tip more because of the extended stop, the affidavit states.
The victim said the rider became agitated, yelled insults, and spat on the right side of his face before getting out of the car near Greenway Road and Sanchez Drive. The victim told investigators he saw the man reach into a black backpack and drive away, then heard “loud pops” as several rounds struck his vehicle — a 2012 Hyundai Elantra — multiple times in the rear and rear driver’s-side area, the affidavit states.
The victim was not hit, but deputies reported finding seven .40-caliber shell casings in front of a residence on Sanchez Drive and seven bullet holes in the vehicle.
Through an emergency request to Uber, investigators said they obtained trip data showing a pickup near EPCOT, a waypoint stop near a Denny’s on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, and an intended drop-off address on Greenway Road in Kissimmee. The Uber account used for the trip displayed the name “Mr. OG” and was tied to a phone number and email address that investigators later linked to Encarnacion Rosado, the affidavit states.
Detectives said Encarnacion Rosado is a convicted felon and was listed as being on felony probation through February 2028, with the same phone number and the Greenway Road address appearing in probation records, according to the affidavit.
Encarnacion Rosado was booked into the Osceola County Jail. A judge set his bond at $21,500.
