ORLANDO, Fla. – News 6 Mornings anchor and Apopka Community Correspondent Justin Warmoth has decided to sign off at the end of this month, after more than a decade of serving communities in the Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne market #15 under Graham Media Group.
Warmoth started his broadcast journalism career at News 6 in 2013, as a Brevard County bureau reporter before transitioning to covering Orange County and cities like Apopka. His experience growing up in Seminole and Orange counties enhanced his ability to really connect with local residents in the field and on the anchor desk.

“For the last 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a journalist in my hometown. WKMG took a chance on a green 22-year-old and gave me the foundation to grow — both professionally and personally,” Justin said, when asked to reflect on his time at News 6. “As my time here comes to an end, I want to thank the viewers who trusted me with their stories and made this work matter every day. I’m also grateful for my teammates, past and present, who pushed me, supported me, and made the long days worth it.”
Warmoth is a legacy name in the Central Florida news business, as Justin’s father Greg Warmoth is a longtime anchor for the market’s ABC affiliate.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Greg, and now Justin, in the Orlando market,” said Autumn Jones, News 6 Vice President and General Manager. “Justin brings a thoughtful and caring perspective to every story he tells, and every conversation he has. From his coverage of hurricanes and the Pulse nightclub tragedy, to traveling with the Lake Mary little league team on their historic championship run, Justin is a journalist who has stood side-by-side with his home community to cover challenges and happy milestones. We wish him much success in his next chapter, while also knowing Justin will always have a home here in the News 6 newsroom.”
Warmoth and his family will be staying in Central Florida as he pursues a new career. His last day on News 6 is Jan. 30, 2026.
