3 injured in Marion County shooting, deputies say

Incident reported in the 2800 block of NW 90th Street

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Three people were taken to the hospital after being shot in Marion County on Sunday afternoon, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies said they responded around 5:30 p.m. to the 2800 block of NW 90th Street, where they found two men and a woman with gunshot wounds. All three were taken to a local hospital and are in stable condition.

According to a news release, investigators learned a large crowd had gathered at the location when shots rang out. By the time deputies arrived, much of the crowd had already dispersed.

Detectives believe someone who was there saw what happened or has information that could help the investigation.
