Man sought after robbing Sweet Cafe in Kissimmee at gunpoint, carjacking driver

Police release photo of culprit, seek public’s help

KISSIMMEE, Fla.Kissimmee police on Wednesday released a photo of a man wanted in connection with a robbery and carjacking in Kissimmee.

The crimes happened around 5:25 p.m. on Jan. 22 at Sweet Cafe on Vine Street in Kissimmee.

The Kissimmee Police Department said a man entered the cafe, approached an employee with a handgun and demanded money.

After leaving the business, he carjacked a driver to get away, police said.

No injuries were reported.

The man was wearing a white shirt, black shorts and black socks, and he was carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information about the man is asked to call Crimeline, which is offering a reward of up to $1,000 in the case. Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling 800-423-TIPS.
