Mount Dora High School football coach arrested on warrant for child solicitation Colby Erskin, 39, booked into Seminole County jail

The head football coach of Mount Dora High School was arrested Thursday in Seminole County on an active warrant out of South Florida.
Colby Erskin, 39, was arrested in Sanford and faces charges of solicitation of a child and transmission of harmful materials to a minor in Broward County.
Erskin was recently hired as the school’s new football coach.
Lake County Schools said Erskin, who was in his probationary period of employment, was dismissed from his position after the district learned about his arrest.
Erskin is being held without bond and is expected to appear before a judge in Seminole County on Friday.
