55-year-old man arrested after shooting, critically injuring 2 men in Osceola County, deputies say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 55-year-old man is facing attempted murder charges after two brothers were critically injured in a shooting late Saturday in Kissimmee,according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they responded to Carter Drive around 11:20 p.m. for reports of a shooting and found a 31-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. Investigators later learned a 27-year-old man, also shot several times, had been taken to a hospital by family members.

Detectives said they located a man, identified as Marlon Zetino, at a residence on Carter Drive who they believed was involved in the shooting.

According to deputies, some type of verbal altercation occurred just before the gunfire. Both victims, who investigators said are brothers, were taken to Osceola Regional Hospital, where they remained in critical condition.

Zetino was arrested and booked into the Osceola County jail where he faces charges of attempted murder and one count of discharging a firearm in public.

The investigation is ongoing.
