SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Five animals and a worker were successfully evacuated from a pet daycare early Sunday in Seminole County after the unit next door caught fire, according to the fire department.
Crews responded around 1:26 a.m. to 1320 E Altamonte Drive, where a safety business’ storage unit was on fire, the Seminole County Fire Department said on social media.

Of the five animals evacuated safely from the pet daycare, four were dogs and one was a cat, the post states.
The fire department said the scene was quickly contained. Photos and video of the scene show what appears to be a charred workspace.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire — most likely electrical, the post states — was still said to be under investigation at the time of this writing.
