Check your freezer: Meatballs sold at Aldi recalled Packaging in Bremer product could contain metal No description found
Nearly 10,000 pounds of Bremer brand frozen meatballs have been recalled over possible metal contamination.
The recall applies to 32-ounce bags of fully cooked, frozen “Bremer FAMILY SIZE ITALIAN STYLE MEATBALLS,” which contain about 64 meatballs per package and were sold nationwide at Aldi stores.
The recalled meatballs have a best-by date of Oct. 30.
The issue was discovered when a consumer reported finding metal fragments in the meatballs.
There have been no reports of confirmed injuries, but anyone who has the product is urged to return it or throw it away.
