NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – Two boaters reported missing since early Monday morning have been found alive
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission located the pair via aircraft approximately 20 miles off the coast of Ormond Beach. The New Smyrna Beach Police Department confirmed the update, though additional details surrounding the rescue have not yet been released.

The search had been underway since the two individuals were last seen and heard from at approximately 6 a.m. Monday after departing from Lake Helen. Their vehicle and boat trailer were discovered at the Swoop Boat Ramp in New Smyrna Beach.
