Oviedo police investigate report of shots fired at Live Oaks Reserve

OVIEDO, Fla – Oviedo police responded to a call about shots being heard at Live Oaks Reserve this afternoon.

Residents also reported a large police presence in the area.

Police said officers located a victim who was not injured by gunfire but had injuries caused by a vehicle.

Investigators believe the incident was a drug deal gone bad, police said.

No other injuries were reported, and police said there was no threat to the public.
