Body discovered at Kissimmee neighborhood in ‘suspicious death’ case

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Kissimmee police are now investigating a “suspicious death” after a body was discovered in a local neighborhood, according to the department.

In a release, police said they responded to the 1500 block of Heather Way around 10:15 a.m. on Thursday after receiving a report about someone with “apparent injuries.”

“At this time, detectives are investigating the incident as a suspicious death,” the release reads.

This remains an active investigation, though no additional details have been released at this time.
