Homicide investigation breaks out after body found near Altamonte Springs home

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – After a dead body was discovered outside a local home earlier this week, detectives have now chalked up the case to a homicide, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.

In a release, deputies said they were called to the scene in the 800 block of Campello Street in unincorporated Altamonte Springs shortly after 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

At the time, the body was found on the ground outside the home, deputies added.

“We continue to believe that this is an isolated incident,” the release reads. “Our Major Case detectives are following active leads.”
