'Backpage.com' ad led to prostitution bust, Seminole deputies say

Sheriff's Office undercover operation targets prostitution

CASSELBERRY, Fla. – Two women were arrested early Friday on charges of prostitution by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

Seminole County Sheriff's Office said it conducted an undercover operation targeting prostitution involving escort services at the Suburban Lodge Hotel on North Oxford Road in Casselberry.

Yanitza Rivera-Torres, 21, and Katherine Elizabeth Dunn, 18, were arrested after an undercover agent made a deal to watch the two women while he performed a sex act on himself, authorities said.  Once the money changed hands, officers moved in to make the arrest, said deputies.

The undercover agent found the pair via an advertisement on "backpage.com" that advertised two girls together, the Sheriff's Office said.  After a series of text messages between the agent and one of the women, they agreed to receive $400 to let him watch them together, deputies said.

Both women were taken to the Seminole County Jail.
