ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Two men have been arrested after they met up with prostitutes, held them at gunpoint and refused to pay them, according to Altamonte Springs police.
Police said Corey Manuel, 21, and Branden Johnson, 20, were using Backpage.com to find prostitutes. When the women would arrive to their apartments at Lotus Landing, they would force them to have sex with them at gunpoint and not pay them.
Manuel and Johnson are being held at the Seminole County Jail on charges of sexual assault with a weapon, false imprisonment and assault with intent to commit a felony.
Altamonte Springs police said they believe there may be more victims, and are asking for them to come forward.
