Police search for man in connection to 4 7-Eleven robberies

Robberies happened in Osceola County, Haines City

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – The Osceola County Sheriff's Office and Haines City Police Department need the public's helping identifying an armed robber who may be responsible for multiple armed robberies in both jurisdictions.

Within the last few days, four armed robberies have happened in Osceola County and Haines City with a similar description of the robber.

The first investigation began on April 15 at 4:19 a.m. when Osceola County deputies responded to 7-Eleven at 7525 Osceola Polk Line Road in Davenport. An employee and a customer said an unknown man walked into the store and demanded money at gunpoint.

He left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen leaving the area on foot.

The second incident was on April 17 at 2:43 a.m. Osceola County deputies responded to a 7-Eleven at 5880 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee. An employee said an unknown man walked into the store and demanded money at gunpoint. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen leaving the area on foot.

The third incident happened on April 18 at 4:27 a.m. at the Circle K (Formerly Kangaroo) at 1013 East Hinson Avenue in Haines City. A man entered the store with a gun and demanded money. He later fled the store on foot, heading eastbound on Hinson Avenue.

The fourth incident was on April 18 at 11:11 p.m. at the Marathon Gas Station at 95 U.S. Highway 17/92 in Haines City. A man entered the store with a gun and demanded money. He later fled on foot eastbound on Oak Avenue.

The thief is described as a 6-foot-tall black man in his 40s or 50s weighing about 150 pounds.

Calls made to Crimeline are anonymous and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
