Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to hold news conference in Boise, Idaho Governor pushes for amendment to balance federal budget

BOISE, Idaho – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday will hold a news conference in Boise, Idaho.
The event at the Idaho State Capitol in Boise is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. EDT.
The Florida governor will be joined by Idaho Senate President Pro Tempore Kelly Anthon and House Majority Leader Jason Monks.
According to Boise TV station KTVB , DeSantis will encourage the Idaho Legislature to join 28 other states in passing an amendment that would require the federal government to balance the budget.
DeSantis visited Idaho last year on a similar mission.
