Shots fired outside Orlando CVS during drug transaction, deputies say Man taken to ORMC in critical but stable condition

ORLANDO, Fla. – One man was injured after shots were fired during a drug transaction outside a CVS Pharmacy at 7300 Curry Ford Road, deputies said.
Deputies said a 20-year-old man was parked in his vehicle when a 20-year-old man he was meeting for a drug transaction got into the car, pulled out a gun and demanded cash.
The owner of the car, who has a concealed weapons permit, shot at the suspect, who then fled, deputies said.
About an hour later, the wounded suspect arrived at Florida Hospital East, deputies said. He was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
Deputies said the investigation is ongoing.
