South Daytona man watched porn at park in front of kids, police say

Police say man had porn on his computer screen in plain sight

SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. – A South Daytona man accused of watching porn in a park right in front of kids has been arrested.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon at Reed Canal Park in South Daytona.

The father who called police is worried it will happen again.

"If you want to have fun with your family, have a picnic, play on the jungle gym, take part in a sport, yes, pornography no," said father, Stephen Abramowitz.

The man is 56-year-old Vincent Huling. South Daytona police say he had it up on his computer screen in plain sight.

"The guy was on the computer, one the laptop, but he had ear buds in so he couldn't hear anything so the arresting officers came in and came in through the Reed Canal side and snuck up behind him," said Abramowitz.

Abramowitz said parents have seen him at the park several times watching not so kid-friendly material, but Thursday when saw Huling, he called 911.

"Don't you think you'd want to do that somewhere else in privacy?" asked Abramowtiz.

According to the arrest report, when asked about the tablet, Huling said he was on Facebook. When asked about the pornography, he told police, "Oh, I just clicked on that."

"If he does come back, I'll call the police again," said Abramowitz.

Abramowitz is encouraging parents to get involved if they see something suspicious.
