Hi, friends! It’s Brenda, back in your inbox for all the Central Florida Happenings.

Isn’t the picture above just wonderful? I love a good sunrise or sunset and they just make me appreciate the small things in life.

This photo was taken in Sanford! Which, you guys should visit (specifically next Wednesday). More on that a lil later :)

Here’s what’s happening this weekend ⤵️

Get ready for two days of music and a “diverse lineup” as the Maitland Jazz & Blues Festival swings back into town 🎷.

Besides the music, there will be food and drink vendors you can check out as well as the restaurants nearby, such as Boku Sushi or Sanford Brewing.

“Bring chairs and blankets, and grab a good spot in front of the two stages. The Blues Stage will be located on the north side of Independence Square - a scenic park with a large, grassy area. The Jazz Stage will be on the south side of Independence Lane - a roadway adjacent to the park,” the event’s website reads.

📅 MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!!! 📅

Next Wednesday, April 10, WKMG is Hitting the Road again and bringing our newscast to you!

This time, we’ve been covering Sanford’s 32771 ZIP code, highlighting the history, impact of the area’s rapid growth and more.

Join us out at Hollerbach’s German Restaurant from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. And if you think the food pictured above looks good, you’ll be able to find more of that at Hollerbach’s!

Bring your friends, family and hang out with us 😊.

Click here to check out our coverage of the area. I’ve been keeping up with it, and I have learned a lot of interesting stuff, like learning the origin of Sanford’s “Celery City” name!
