Maybe you can create some powerful, happy memories for a Patronus!
Hey, Iām News 6 producer Brooke Savage, the writer behind this Setting The Stage newsletter.
Letās take a look at whatās going on. ⤵
šŖ āHarry Potter and the Cursed Childā is wrapping up its Florida debut in Orlando
Some Harry Potter magic is gracing an Orlando stage, marking a Florida debut and the only Florida stop on the tour.
āHarry Potter and the Cursed Childā follows Harry Potterās headstrong son, Albus. Harry is working at the Ministry of Magic, and Albus is just starting out at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
When the sorting hat puts Albus in a different Hogwarts house than his father, he becomes friends with the son of Harryās rival, Draco Malfoy. The divide between father and son becomes stronger, setting off a chain of choices that leads Albus to alter the past and reshape the future, with unintended consequences.
I had the chance to see the show, which felt timely because I just finished reading the 3rd Harry Potter book, and now Iām on the 4th one!
I also spoke with the actors who play Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.
