Dr. LaTanya White unpacks the 5 forms of ‘Dynastic Wealth’

Corie Murray’s ‘Black Men Sundays’ podcast focuses on business, finance and building generational wealth

ORLANDO, Fla. – This week on “Black Men Sundays,” host Corie Murray interviews Dr. LaTanya White, an award-winning researcher who prides herself in having helped thousands of fellow entrepreneurs.

She’s the creator of Dynastic Wealth, what she says encompasses the following five forms: spiritual wealth, intellectual wealth, financial wealth, wisdom, and relational wealth.

“The real idea with Dynastic Wealth is it’s not just your household. This is about the collective family identity because when we talk about the Rockefellers, we are not just talking about the people that live in one house. We’re talking about the descendants of John D. Rockefeller and his wife, right? When we’re talking about the Walton family, the Walmart family who just reached dynastic status 10 years ago, we’re talking about the descendants of Sam Walton. So it’s not just LaTanya and Sparrow — that’s my daughter’s name — this LaTanya is a part of the collective family," she said.

While pursuing Dynastic Wealth, White stressed that you must have structured and intentional discussions about it with your family. After all, you want to be the family CEO, not the family ATM.

“It takes three generations for a family to become a dynasty, so this ain’t nothing that’s going to happen overnight necessarily,” she said.
