Meet the voice of the Oviedo Lions

Scott Lienard dreamt of being a sports announcer since he was 6 or 7 years old

OVIEDO, Fla. – Scott Lienard says he had dreamt of being a sports announcer since he was six or seven years old.

He would practice when he was a kid by turning the sound down on his video games and calling the action himself. A decade later, he turned his dream into reality, getting his first opportunity as a PA announcer at the Special Olympics.

Today, the softball diamonds keep him busy living his dream.
