While the game got off to a slow start, things began to heat up early in the second half of the match after City midfielder Gustavo Caraballo scored on the Rowdies, assisted by teammate Martin Ojeda.
Of course, Caraballo didn’t stop there, quickly scoring another goal just a couple minutes later.
The City cemented their lead as the game went on, with strikers Ramiro Enrique and Duncan McGuire taking points for their team.
And to add salt to the wound, City midfielder Dagur Thórhallsson fired at the 90-minute mark, ending the match 5 - 0.
Now, the City are scheduled to head back into league play with a home game against the New England Revolution this weekend.
