Orlando City SC pulls 2-2 draw from Charlotte FC thanks to late goals

The Orlando City soccer team notched another draw for the season against Charlotte Saturday night.

The Lions were down 2-0 going into the second half, but Ramiro Enrique gave the team a glimmer of hope with a goal in the 69th minute.

Then Marco Pašalić scored the second goal in the 80th minute.

That tie puts another point on the scorecard for the Lions. They are currently fifth in the MLS Eastern Conference with 34 points.

That’s nine wins, seven losses and five ties.

The team returns to Orlando to play CF Montréal on Saturday, July 12. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
