WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – The Lake Mary Little League All-Stars on Thursday won 2-1 against Tennessee in the first game in the Southeast Regional tournament.

Lake Mary took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning thanks to an RBI by pitcher Jacob Brown, with centerfielder Levi Rodriguez scoring the run.

Tennessee tied it up in the fourth inning.

Lake Mary outfielder Maddox Novitchkov had the winning RBI in the fifth inning, with Brown scoring the winning run.

Brown recorded six strikeouts through five innings against Tennessee.

Lake Mary will next play Friday, Aug. 1, against West Virginia.

The winner of the regional earns the title as the Southeast team in the Little League World Series.
