Caitlin Carducci announced as Orlando Pride’s new general manager

Carducci spoke Tuesday with Pride Owner & Chairman Mark Wilf

ORLANDO, Fla. – Caitlin Carducci was welcomed by Pride Owner & Chairman Mark Wilf as the new general manager and vice president of soccer operations for the Orlando Pride Tuesday.

“This club is a special club,” Carducci said Tuesday at her introductory press conference. “It is a successful club; it is a championship club. It is really the honor of a lifetime to have the opportunity to continue to lead a club with such a strong foundation.”

Carducci takes over for Haley Carter, who was the previous VP of soccer operations and sporting director. Carter stepped down in November after being with the Pride for three seasons.

“We’re grateful for where we’ve gotten and Haley Carter and all the rest getting us to where we are,” Wilf said. “We know sustaining and being long-term is what we’re about, and we really feel Caitlin is going to take us there.”

Carducci comes from being the general manager at the Kansas City Current. That club won the fastest NWSL Shield in league history in 2025, a trophy awarded to the team with the best league record. She was with the Current for two seasons. She also worked as NWSL’s director of player affairs and U.S. Soccer’s manager of member programs.

Carducci shifts her focus on winning to the Pride, who are not recent strangers to winning. The Pride won both the NWSL Shield and Championship in 2024. The team lost in the semifinals in 2025.

“This is a club that is ready to compete right now,” Carducci said. “This is not a club that lacks success of recent years.”

The 2026 regular season starts March 13.
