KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Gloria Vasquez is a Kissimmee resident who doesn’t just go the extra mile.
She goes 26.2 miles! That is the distance of a marathon.
In her lifetime, Vasquez has run 96 marathons. She’s done a marathon in all 50 states and on five continents, and, at 74 years old, she hasn’t reached her finish line.
Gloria’s goal is to reach 100. She estimates she is two years away from achieving the marathon milestone.
Gloria tells Sports Director Jamie Seh that she’s been blessed with good stamina, a strong work ethic, and an enduring love of running.
