Florida State reschedules game with ULM

Seminoles will be playing Warhawks on Dec. 2

TALLAHASSEE, Fla – Florida State University announced Tuesday that it has officially rescheduled its football game against the University of Louisiana Monroe for Dec. 2 at noon.

The game was originally scheduled for Sept. 9, but was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.

“I appreciate the efforts of our administration as well as the administration and Coach Viator at ULM to get this game rescheduled,” head coach Jimbo Fisher said in a news release. “It was unfortunate for both teams that we were not able to play this game in September, and both teams deserve the chance to play their 12th game of the season. Any time we have the opportunity to play in Doak Campbell Stadium in front of our fans we are excited. However, this week our complete focus is on Clemson.”

This news will likely be well-received by Seminole fans, as it provides another opportunity for Florida State to continue to try and improve upon what has been a disappointing football season.

Florida State currently has the longest active, consecutive bowl appearance streak in college football, at 35 straight years. To become bowl eligible, a team must have six wins. Florida State currently has three, with contests remaining against Clemson, Delaware State, Florida and now, Louisiana Monroe.

The Warhawks of Louisiana Monroe are currently 4-5 this season.

Tickets and parking passes that were purchased for the game on it's original date in September will be honored on Dec. 2.

Fans can purchase tickets by visiting Seminoles.com or by calling the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at 850-644-1830 ,or 888-378-6653 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Tickets are $30 for sideline seats, $25 for end zone sections, and $12 for youths 18 and under.
