WATCH: Lake Mary All-Stars join News 6 to discuss World Series victory | World Series champs answered viewer questions
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Lake Mary All-Stars joined News 6 this week to celebrate the team’s victory over the weekend at the Little League World Series.
Lake Mary defeated Chinese Taipei 2-1 in extra innings Sunday to claim the World Series title.
More than 5.4 million people watched the game , which was the most-watched Little League game since 2015.
The team flew home Monday and returned to school on Tuesday, though the players chose to join News 6 during the 6 p.m. newscast to discuss their experiences and answer questions from viewers.
