Passionate soccer fans take over downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – The passion for soccer is taking over downtown Orlando at the Club World Cup.

Tens of thousands of fans of Flamengo, one of Brazil’s most popular teams, converged on Camping World Stadium, creating an effervescent atmosphere.

Flamengo has given their supporters many reasons to cheer. The South American squad has disrupted the Club World Cup, upsetting Euro power Chelsea to easily advance to the knockout round.

As Flamengo tried to finish its group stage matches with a victory over LAFC of MLS in Orlando, News 6 Sports Director was there in the team’s unofficial fan zone. She found a passion that was both boundless and contagious.
